Allan|Carter introduces on-line technical testing tools to improve speed & accuracy of technical vetting process
Recruiting specialist technical staff offers many challenges. Our role as your recruitment partner is to minimise your management effort in the process, particularly during the screening stages of the process. Whilst we as a specialist recruitment company, are familiar with many technologies, our area of expertise is around identifying and selecting the best candidates rather than technically testing hands-on knowledge.

To improve the speed & accuracy of the selection process, Allan|Carter has invested in automated testing technology allowing candidates to perform technical tests on-line. We then provide our clients with a detailed report on the candidate's performance, highlighting areas where they have excelled or performed less well. Selection is rarely an exact science; As well as further improving the success rate of interview-to-hire, these techniques provide a useful aid for the hiring manager when ‘drilling-down' on a candidate's technical knowledge in the face-to-face interview session.

New team member: Louize Clarke. Louize has more than 10 years' experience working within or providing to the sector.

Louize brings not only recruitment experience from the last 5 years spent working with IT Services and communication software vendors but can also provide significant added-value based upon her sales experience within the technology sector. Early in her career Louize was Sales Manager for a division of Ericsson consultancy services, working with both mobile and fixed operators. She also held the position of Product Marketing Manager for an early-stage technology company.
